[February 2012] Badminton England have launched the Play Badminton (http://www.playbadminton.co.uk) website to increase badminton participation. Whether you have never played before, used to play, or see yourself as a star in the making, they want to make it easier than ever to get on a court. And don't forget that Ashby Badminton Club would love you to give us a try!

[February 2012] Ashby Badminton Club is listed on the Infolinx website that is the community information network covering Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. At the heart of Infolinx is a database of local organisations which holds the details of over 5,000 clubs, societies, organisations and self help groups based in the region.

[May 2011] Committee Elections. Members were elected to the Club's Committee at the AGM. The Chairman thanked everyone who has helped towards Ashby Badminton Club achieving CLUBMARK accreditation and thereby becoming a Badminton England Premier Club. There is only a few other Clubs in Leicestershire with this status. This means we are a safe sports club for children to attend and receive proper coaching.
